Benchmark RIGOR   

The Benchmark RIGOR Program is used in grades 7-12, 90 minutes a day, 5 times a week.  This is a proven intervention program for English language learners and striving readers at preliterate and primary reading levels.  Age-appropriate texts at a range of levels, plus explicit instruction, support language development and content understanding.  Benchmark Education integrates high quality effective literacy instruction with the research and knowledge of renowned author and consultant, Dr. Margarita Calderon.  Dr. Calderon has focused her research to find solutions for older students in the area of language, literacy, and content understanding.
